A to Z Baby & Toddler Guide
From the day we come to know that we are going to have a baby, the excitement and anticipation does not stop, then "all of a sudden"(usually nine months later-for the naive ones to understand) our first baby is born and, we are Mommy and Daddy.
The excitement we display when holding this bundle of joy in our arms for the first time is the true feelings of joy and and happiness of parenthood.
After a little while when the excitement dies down we are clueless about what to do with this wiggly little thing wrapped in a blanket, except to look into the babies eyes and feel proud.
Now all this changes the minute the little angel’s have had their first pooh or poop (I would call it more as churned butter) and then you have to clean them up, by the way they do this every time they have a feed and they want to be fed every four hours some even more frequently.
They also pee with glee especially when you have just changed their diapers
…OOOH!!! I forgot to tell you they even throw up whenever they feel like it just to annoy you.
What??? And you thought bringing up children was easy!!!!!
In many countries after the new one has arrived, the mom has absolutely nothing to worry about except eat, feed the baby and sleep because for the first few weeks the whole extended family looks after the child and the mom.
Well not many of us living in cities are that lucky, in this modern age of nucleus families and single parent generation, to have that kind of privileges.
Lucky for us we have the internet, we can find all the info we need in bringing up our little angels, How ever I feel it is just a lame excuse for not wanting to ask our parents for their help in bringing up the little one.
No amount of info from the net or forums can compare in support and guidance of our parents and grandparents in bringing up our babies and toddlers.
I hope our site will be useful to you and if you have any suggestions or would like to add your wonderful experiences, tips, comments, recipes and children s photographs please do so and we will put it up on this website for you and other parents could also benefit from it.
