The furniture adds to the beauty of the room and can give the look and feel of both a contemporary or Victorian look or a modern clean cut apartment look, there is no limit of the possibilities.

Inexpensive furniture at auctions and garage sales are one of the best options and you will get the best deals imaginable, especially when there is a garage sale and the family is moving away to another city, in most cases they will sell it at what ever price you offer them. (I know may sound cruel but that is how you get a good bargain. And it is better that you get it than that mean lady from your neighborhood who will be picking it up at half the price that you were thinking of buying it at.)

You can repaint it or polish it and put it in the place in your rooms as you had imagined it to be when you were buying it.

Light colors are the best suited for any room in the house, always avoid dark colors.
