Biblical names are basically names straight out of the Bible, however that entirely depends on the Bible and the language that it is translated in, so you may have chosen a Biblical name from the English Bible and later realized that in another Language it is pronounced in a different way altogether for eg: Phillip is an English Bible name but Piripi is the same in some Pacific countries.I love the Bible for one thing “its honesty” there is no air about the people in the bible and no other religious books are able to boast about it in this manner or some much as even come close to it in its humility and forthrightness about the flaws in the characters even if they are the greatest heroes who ever existed on this earth. Bible names has a romantic attachment to it, for eg: if you think of the name David, your first thought would be, a Giant slayer, a shepherd, a musician, a great king, an adulterer or a humble man, depending on the emotion you are in at that moment, however the Bible has never portrayed him as a great king with no faults at all which makes it real. Every name in the bible has a story to tell and has an emotion attached to it, like my dad wanted my baby brother to be called Isaac, because he was born after his retirement. He is my father’s soul and my father’s whole life revolves around him, (I can imagine the agony Abraham must have gone through and the faith he had in G_D when he was asked to give up Isaac).
