Be it men in shower locker rooms or the study the conversations and the taste is the same....bland. The conversation of men mostly revolves around sport or some new toys(like a car or mobile phone). be they college locker room men or men on the company board of directors They just think the same the same " Sports, Cars, fishing and drinking etc nothing new or spicy".
So deciding on what decoration you would like to do in your mans den is very straight forward, all you need to do is think like a man, not necessarily like men in in shower locker rooms. Please don't paint flowers here because he will Subconsciously switch off and refuse to call it his den.
Be it a home maker or room maker it is always the woman who has the insight and eye for details into these things, men have brilliant ideas where it concerns the safety and structural design, however the rest is usually left on the woman's shoulders.
If you have got the intellectual kind of a man, who does a lot of reading, then paint the room with sober colors and fill the room with lots of good book shelves.
Putting up a funny mural will always be appreciated however don't forget think what he wants and not how beautiful the place should look even if you are 100% correct. They will never fail to appreciate themes like: sports, Jungle, Hunting, light houses, cars, trains and motor bikes, especially if it is their den or pool room, I would say even throw in a few toys there to keep them occupied they never seem to grow up anyway.
This does not apply to those gorgeous beautiful men who appreciate all the nice ideas their woman have, in decorating the study to look nice.
