What is a Mural
What is a Mural? A literal dictionary meaning for it is: “A very large picture, a painting or an enlarged photograph, applied directly to a wall or ceiling.” One cannot define mural or give a mural definition beyond this and one cannot really say when the mural history began exactly. From ancient times it has been observed and seen that there has been some form of art on prominent land marks/structures/ buildings or wall and even in ceilings inside the monuments. It became a big movement and came to the streets in a big way during the Mexican revolution catching the moods and the sentiments of the Mexican people. The murals were a way of the peasant class expressing themselves and gathering the support of the people through this form of communication or media
